Non-Invasive Imaging for Faster, Stress-Free Diagnoses

When your pet isn't feeling well, waiting and guessing is the last thing you want to do. At Epic Tails Veterinary Clinic, we use advanced ultrasound imaging to get clear, real-time insights into what’s going on inside your pet’s body, without the need for invasive procedures.
Our veterinary imaging services help us diagnose conditions earlier, treat them more precisely, and bring you peace of mind.
What is Veterinary Ultrasound?
- Abdominal organs like the liver, kidneys, bladder, and intestines
- Reproductive status or pregnancy monitoring
- Fluid accumulation or unexplained swelling
- Masses, cysts, or tumors that need further evaluation

Why Might Your Pet Need Imaging?
- Vomiting or having chronic diarrhea
- Showing signs of unexplained weight loss or fatigue
- Drinking or urinating more than usual
- Experiencing abdominal discomfort or bloating
- Showing signs of heart disease or breathing issues
- Recovering from an injury and needs internal evaluation
- Pregnant and due for a wellness check
What to Expect During an Ultrasound Visit
We strive to make your pet’s imaging experience as stress-free as possible. Most ultrasound appointments do not require sedation. Your pet will lie comfortably while our trained staff gently glides a small probe over their skin.
Depending on the area being examined, a small patch of fur may need to be shaved for better contact. The procedure usually takes about 30 minutes, and you’ll be able to take your pet home the same day.
Once complete, our veterinarian will explain the results in simple words, so you can understand what’s happening and what steps to take next.
